Fruit Basket ("we", "us", "our") operates the Fruit Basket web application and Chrome extension. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how it is protected.

What we collect

When you use the Fruit Basket Chrome extension to analyse a LinkedIn creator, the extension reads the following data from LinkedIn pages that you are already able to view while logged into your own LinkedIn account:

• Post text content
• Post engagement metrics (reaction counts, comment counts) where visible
• The creator's display name and profile picture URL

This data is collected at your explicit request when you initiate an extraction job. No data is collected passively or in the background.

We also collect standard account information when you sign up: your email address and encrypted password.

How we use it

• To perform AI analysis (knowledge extraction, voice profiling, content strategy) and display the results in your Fruit Basket dashboard
• To store your extracted data so you can access it across sessions
• To provide the core features of the service you signed up for

We do not use your data to train AI models, sell it to third parties, or use it for advertising.

Data storage

Extracted data is stored in a secure database (Supabase) and is associated with your account. Data is transmitted over HTTPS at all times.

Authentication tokens

The Chrome extension stores your session token temporarily in browser session storage. This token is cleared when you close your browser. It is never sent to third parties.

Third-party services

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Anthropic — AI analysis of extracted post content (knowledge extraction, voice profiling)
• DeepSeek — AI classification of extracted post content

Post content is transmitted to AI providers solely to perform the analysis you requested. We do not permit these providers to use your data for model training.

Your rights

• Access — You can view all your extracted data in the dashboard at any time
• Deletion — You can delete any extracted profile from the Profiles tab. This permanently removes all associated data (posts, knowledge blocks, voice profiles, content strategies)
• Account deletion — To delete your account and all data, contact us at the email below

LinkedIn usage note

Fruit Basket reads LinkedIn content from pages you are already authorised to view using your own LinkedIn account. By using this extension you accept that this activity may be subject to LinkedIn's own User Agreement, and that you are responsible for your compliance with LinkedIn's terms of service. Fruit Basket does not log into LinkedIn on your behalf — your own browser session is used.
